George Cleverly Saddle Shoe

Traditional English bespoke shoemaker, George Cleverley, produce these pretty swish Vermeer saddle shoes. A limited edition, the price is on the eye-watering side but for that you get walk around in the vintage Bugatti of the footwear world – if that’s the kind of world you inhabit. Much of the cost is down to the combination of two brilliant leathers, 1786 Russian leather and Horween shell cordovan, the rest is the glow that comes with having some of the finest shoes money can buy. The first pair of bespoke shoes G.J Cleverley made were for the Prince of Wales, with that in mind, 10% of the profits (a healthy number when you consider the total) will go to the Prince’s Trust charity. That’s bonus warm feelings you get to keep. Find them here.

Alexander McQueen Skull Loafer

Alexander McQueen has always owned the skull, inserting it into his designs and making it a part of the late designers iconic repertoire. Settle into the right pair of hide-behind sunglasses with these on your feet and do some full summer lurking so bold that you get called on it. When that happens, lift your foot to the interloper, point to the skull and shrug. Ssense has them.
